Centerpoint Classroom Presentations/Red Ribbon Week October 2013 October was National Substance Abuse Prevention Month for schools all over the  nation.  The  Mustangs Youth Services Center (YSC) was in full force with their  campaign, “Stop!  In  the Name of  Drugs.” As you walked through the halls of  MCHS,  you were able find some  startling statistics and facts about the dangers of  drugs and long-term effects that they can  leave on your life from just ONE choice. West Kentucky Health Coalition

Hands-On Health Care Fair November 8, 2013 On November 8, the West Kentucky Health Coalition held its Annual “Hands-on Health Career Fair” at Murray State University’s Paducah Campus.  The Mustang Youth Services Center partnered with Mrs. Cindy Allardin’s Nurse Ed classes and about 45 students took part in the Career Fair which held rotating workshops ranging from sonography, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, radiology technician and many more.  Students participated in the hands-on activities and learned what courses they would need to take in college to complete those career...
